Jed was one of Doc Baker's patients. He usually payed him with things like apples. Dr. Logan refused to assist him when Jed offered to pay with a chicken.

Joe Kagan

Joe is a former boxer who left his wife and son to pursue his career alongside his manager. He became very ill and was nursed back to health with the help of Charles, and learned to appreciate farm life. When he discovered his son was being used by his former manager, he quickly broke off their relations without revealing his identity to his son. He eventually moved from Walnut Grove to Sleepy Eye, where he wanted to spend his life with Hester-Sue.

John Bevins

John Bevins was a kind man who cared too much about his physical appearance. His daughter Amelia did not approve of his weight, so he moved out of their home to keep her from becoming embarassed. He then hurt himself by falling from the roof of the blind school while fixing it. He lost the will to live, but regained it when his daughter came and told John that she loved him.

Jonathan is the husband of Alice and the father of Andy. He is also a very good friend of Charles Ingalls.

Jordan Harrison

Jordan was a boy who wanted to perform in the circus. He would always be practicing various stunts. His parents were planning on getting a divorce, so when he fell off of a tree, he pretended to go blind. This made his parents get back together. Jordan later fell off a horse and hit his head on a rock, making him forget the entire incident.
